ITI TranscenData announced the release of Proficiency 15, the latest edition of its leading Feature Based CAD Interoperability solution for manufacturers and their suppliers. Proficiency enables the transfer of complete design intelligence between major CAD systems which includes geometry, features, sketches, manufacturing info, metadata, assembly information and drawings in the conversion process.
This version continues to strengthen Proficiency data exchange solution for the Mid-range CAD interoperability market. Proficiency version 15.0 introduces new support for feature base CAD data exchange from all supported CAD system into SolidWorks. This new support includes conversion of: parts, assemblies and associative drawings. In addition, Proficiency 15.0 introduces the following new features:
- Folder Submission – enable processing all data found in source folder regardless its structure and type.
- File rename mapping – enable renaming of the converted files based on a predefine file name mapping
- “Job resolving” type (available only in internal mode) – a new job type that result in creation of data resolving xml file and allow submitting a job based on xml file.
These new functionalities offer a flexible and robust submission capability for CAD migration and data delivery use cases. Proficiency version 15 includes more than 220 bug fixes and enhancement requests and it is the first Proficiency version that introduces ITI’s new Product branding and Proficiency new product Logo. .
